One team for your hormones, your medication, your training and your nutrition. That is the Ignition Sequence™: Science + Strength + Nutrition.
Ignite offers women's hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for women in St. Louis and Chesterfield in perimenopause, menopause and the years after. Our provider, Matthew Pliske, PA-C, reviews your symptoms and labs in person and decides whether hormone therapy is appropriate. Every plan comes paired with coached strength training and nutrition coaching, because muscle, bone and metabolism change in midlife too.
Are you experiencing unexplained fatigue, mood swings, stubborn weight gain, or frustrating brain fog? Have you been told by a doctor that these symptoms are just a part of aging and something you have to accept? That’s simply not true. At Ignite Performance and Health, we believe that women should feel strong, confident, and vibrant at every stage of life—including menopause. With the right support, you can regain your energy, improve your health, and thrive.
When it comes to hormone therapy, there’s a significant gap in care. While men have a variety of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) options, women often struggle to find effective hormone replacement therapy (HRT) solutions tailored to their unique needs. That’s where Ignite Performance and Health steps in.
Our provider-led, data-driven program, delivered in person by Matthew Pliske, PA-C, under medical director oversight, goes beyond just prescribing hormones. We integrate cutting-edge medical care with fitness training and personalized nutrition to ensure you age with strength and vitality. By combining modern pharmaceuticals, progressive fitness strategies, and real-time nutritional guidance, we help you navigate menopause with confidence.

Common questions
Who is menopause and hormone therapy at Ignite for?
Women in perimenopause, menopause or the years after, in the St. Louis area, whose symptoms are affecting sleep, energy, mood or body composition. Our provider decides in person whether hormone therapy fits you.
How does Ignite decide whether hormone therapy is appropriate?
You meet our provider in person, go through your history and symptoms, and get labs drawn. The provider explains the options and the risks, and prescribes only when treatment is appropriate for you.
Why does Ignite pair hormone therapy with strength training?
Muscle and bone tend to decline in midlife. Resistance training and enough protein support both, and hormone therapy does not build muscle on its own. That is why training and nutrition are part of every plan.
Is this covered by insurance?
Ignite is a cash-based clinic and does not bill insurance directly. We provide superbills and documentation you can submit to your HSA or FSA provider for reimbursement.
How do I get started?
Book a 15-minute strategy call with Derek. If it is a fit, the next step is an in-person visit with our provider and labs at our clinic at 14830 Clayton Rd in Chesterfield.
Treatment is prescribed only when a licensed provider determines it is appropriate for you. Individual results vary.
